South coast writer and performer Shanna Provost is pushing the boundaries this week with her play titled 'Dee Dee's Dying to Know' to support National Dying to Know Day.
"It's such a sensitive subject, and I'm quite nervous about putting myself out there in this way, but I feel so passionate about breaking the taboo around death so that people will feel inspired to get their affairs in order and embrace the inevitable', says Provost.
But are we ready as a community to watch a play that will make you laugh and cry and push buttons about such a sensitive issue? We'll find out this Thursday, on the day when individuals and groups around Australia are bringing to life conversations and community actions round death, dying and bereavement.
