Dancing with the Stars

The  2019 Stars of Eurobodalla raised the bar this year with everyone involved going above and beyond expectations with amazing performances and outstanding fundraising efforts.

The eight Stars drawn from all areas of the community performed in front of a sold out crowd of around 350 people at the Batemans Bay Soldier Club. The crowd was entertained by amazing dances from a variety of dance styles including pole-dancing, rock and roll and swing  as well as fantastic costumes. Some photos of the night courtesy of Stars of Eurobodalla Dance For Cancer:

Cancer Council Community Relations Coordinator Ainslie Tweedie says the event was a huge success. “Events like the Stars of Eurobodalla are vital to support local cancer council patients and their families. Cancer Council is 94 per cent funded by the community – without the generosity of the community we cannot deliver the work that we do.”

“We are overwhelmed with the community response – we hoped to reach $30,000 raised but final figures are closer to $52,000. The generosity of the Eurobodalla is phenomenal”.

NOTE: Comments were TRIALED - in the end it failed as humans will be humans and it turned into a pile of merde; only contributed to by just a handful who did little to add to the conversation of the issue at hand.
