Dalmeny Narooma Bushwalkers - A visit to Bologa Head and 'Queen Victoria Rock"

Thirteen walkers attended the third walk in a series of five walks testing our Covid Protocols and prior to activation of our Spring Program. Michael McDonagh, one of most experienced walkers, led this walk and "nailed" a perfect day. We travelled some paths that have been less travelled of late with some stunning coastal vista's,looking towards Montague Island, Fullers Beach,Nargal Lake and with Gulaga hovering over us. It truly was a day to be out in our "Backyard" especially after the rain and weather of late. Most of the small lagoons have broken out to the sea for the first time in many years and some of the larger ones will remain open for many months. Marine life and ecosystems surrounding the coast will benefit for months to come. It is wonderful to live in this region and witness this renewal, so I cannot encourage you enough, to get out amongst it with your family and friends, refresh your soul in these difficult times and be grateful we live here.
