Dalmeny Narooma Bushwalkers

Mummaga to Brou Lake and Back Thirteen Walkers met at Mummaga lake Pedestrian Bridge to walk in a favourite local area . It was led by Maggie Finch and she took us inland around the back of Mummaga Lake through some lovely Coastal eucalypt forest westward of the Brou lake Entrance. A large build up of sand was noted at the entrance area and it will take a lot of rain to flood the lake, enabling the entrance to open. We travelled back via a coastal path and down the beach to where we started covering approximately 10 klms. It was a lovely morning with lunch on a rocky outcrop looking over the sea. Kerren thanked Maggie for putting on the walk in another area very close to our homes.  report by David Maidment
