Dalmeny Community Market returns with gusto

Above: The two Lions making the venue COVID Safe are Lions Tony Fahey and Steve Bishop.

Despite the Weather Forecast mentioning the possibility of rain, the patronage at our second Market for the year was well attended with many stallholders please with their takings. We met a number of new residents in Dalmeny, Kianga and Narooma who recently made the move to our area.

This Lions project now has been registered as a COVID Safe event so people who have the app can use the scan-in bar code as a means of registering instead of the sign-in process.

We look forward to the next Market due to be held on Sunday 14th November. This is the day prior to our fund-raising Wine Drive closing.

WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF GATHERING FUNDING FOR A NEW, PURPOSE BUILT BBQ TRAILER with which we can not only BBQ in Luxury, but also support our Emergency Service Organizations when the need for support at the Front Line is required. This is in adjunct to supporting the Narooma Evacuation Centre.

The community can support us in our BBQ Trailer Fund Raising by buying wine from our wine drive link https://prospectwines.com.au/product/narooma-and-district-lions-club/

or by direct donation to our Club. Please contact our Club Secretary Lion Sandy on 0409 813 332 for any of these options.
