Members of the Eurobodalla Photographic Club produced an amazing variety of images for the monthly competition subject, “Glass and shiny objects”. Ranging from abstract reflections to the uncommon and unusual, the challenge of selecting the winning entries was given to Bindi Welsh. Bindi is an award winning professional photographer in the Canberra and Eurobodalla region. Also for the first time the opportunity was given to members at the meeting to select an image as the members choice. This will become an additional feature of our regular monthly competitions.

The second half of the evening was presented by club member Beth Westra. Beth showcased a wonderful collection of images themed around the local village of Tilba, incorporating the landscape architecture and historic foundations of the heritage listed village.

As a bonus Beth also presented a collection of images taken at the walk in aviary in Tathra. The club is formulating the programme for 2020 and this aviary is under consideration as a group visit. Beths presentation gave members a great preview of whats in store for the new year.

The November meeting on Tuesday the 26th will bring the programme for 2019 to a close. Visitors are welcome to join us on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 7pm, excepting December at the community hall Tomakin. The 2020 programme of competition subjects, workshops and photo-shoots will be available shortly on our website https://www.eurobodallaphotographicclub.org/ or find us on our Facebook page.
