Craig Sinclair at the Dromedary Hotel Sunday May 2nd

Craig Sinclair will be playing at the Dromedary Hotel (14 Bate Street, Central Tilba), 1:00 – 4:00pm May 2nd, Free entry, outdoor venue.

For the past 20 years, journeyman Craig Sinclair has been plying his unique blend of fingerstyle acoustic and lapstyle guitar and story-telling folk/blues to audiences across Australia, often as part of WA festival act 'the Pepperjacks'. His latest release 'Is This Goodbye' reflects a decade-long process of writing and recording. Now based in Sydney, Craig is making inroads into the east coast music scene, emerging post-lockdown with a string of great shows in city and regional areas.

Craig’s latest release reflects a decade-long process of writing and recording. Songs feature characters facing change or on the brink – in relationships, identities and their own survival. It’s an acknowledgement of the uncertainty in life, that’s always just beneath the surface. A key song on this album recounts the story of Modesto Varischetti, an Italian miner trapped during the Bonnievale mining disaster in 1907 in WA. This story of courage, community spirit and survival casts light on contemporary struggles faced by modern communities in a changing world.

Fresh from touring his latest album ‘Is This Goodbye’ around his home state of WA, Craig is pumped to connect with folks on the south coast and share his stories of love, land, family and travel. Check out the music at www.craigsinclair.com.au and www.facebook.com/craigsinclairmusic. Free entry (outdoor venue, weather dependent) and music starts from 1pm, grab a table at the Drom and make a day of it.
