COVID testing at MORUYA HOSPITAL - NEED TO KNOW

The Beagle Editor COVID TESTING AT MORUYA HOSPITAL - NEED TO KNOW

If you heading to Moruya Hospital for a Covid test, here are some tips that will speed up the process. * Register you details before you arrive. Call 1800 999 880. Don't just rock up, it will take longer. * On arrival at the hospital, park your car and walk with a mask on to the eastern side of the main entrance. Which is the end of the semi circular driveway entrance. DO NOT DRIVE INTO THE HOSPITAL ENTRANCE ROAD. * Once registered, you return to your parked car and wait until called on your mobile. * Once called, drive to the test site via the hospital entrance. You will be tested and given a sheet of paper with info and a QR code to scan. Test results will be sent to your mobile. You do need to isolate until you get the results. * Wait time was about 20-30 minutes yesterday. I have been tested three times at Moruya, the last one yesterday 17 Sept. Unfortunately the Moruya site is confusing. There is inadequate signage and many people drive straight into the hospital entrance and wait in the testing queue, only to be told they must park, then walk in and register. I did see some drive off in frustration which is unfortunate. The young woman doing the testing was exceptional friendly and professional and should be congratulated. Paul Lowry
