Covid numbers highest since January

COVID-19 update – Tuesday 8 March 2022

In the 24-hour reporting period to 4pm yesterday:

- 95.8% of people aged 16+ have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine - 94.4% of people aged 16+ have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine - 55.8% of people have had three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine* - 83.6% of people aged 12-15 have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine - 79% of people aged 12-15 have had two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine - 47.9% of people aged 5-11 have had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine - 1,070 hospitalisations - 43 people in ICU - 5 lives lost - 13,018 positive tests: 9,621 RAT & 3,397 PCR

*Includes both immunocompromised people who have received a third dose and all people aged 16+ who have received a booster.
