Here’s Mathew Hatcher - Mayor Eurobodalla Shire putting today’s Council Meeting - the last for 2022 - on the record.
Coastal Management Program adopted, allowing Council to get on with protecting public and private assets from hazards like erosion and inundation. Councillors added an annual review to the plan, ensuring the best data and info is always in use. Read more on their website under Major Projects.
Funding for potholes - we’ve already filled more than 9,700 this year. Mayor says thanks to Council repair crews for their persistence in the face of relentless wet weather.
Funding from NSW Government for new footpaths in Long Beach, Narooma, Tuross Head, Batehaven, Malua Bay.
"Thank you to the community for reaching out - about the good and the bad - throughout the year. We’ll do it all again in 2023".
