Council facilities closed for COVID lockdown

Most Eurobodalla Council facilities are closed to the public this week due to the NSW Government’s state-wide lockdown.

Council’s depots and its administration centre at Moruya are closed, however residents can continue to do business with Council online and over the phone during business hours.

Eurobodalla Libraries, the Bas, Narooma Swimming Centre, the Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Garden and Eurobodalla Youth Cafes are closed.

Council’s waste facilities are only open to industrial and commercial contractors and for households not on the domestic waste service collection. Domestic waste collection services will continue as normal.

Council’s Family Day Care and Out of School Hours services will continue to operate for families who really need care. Embracing Babies and 3Bs Playgroup will have virtual opportunities for families.

All essential community care services will continue and Moruya Airport will open for scheduled flights.

In accordance with the restrictions, all public buildings and hireable spaces will be unavailable and existing bookings through the lockdown period will be cancelled.

Playgrounds, skate parks and tennis courts will remain open for personal use only and people must adhere to health regulations at all times.

Eurobodalla Council reiterate that community safety is paramount.
