Council agenda July 27th, 2021

The ordinary meeting of Council on July 27th 2021 held at Council chambers in Moruya and live streamed on Council's website will have the following agenda items Cultural Burning requesting that the Far South Coast Bushfire Management Committee consider the potential utilisation of cultural burning practices in managing bushfire risk within the Eurobodalla. Land clearing at Broulee to be addressed via questions on notice received from Councillor Anthony Mayne NSW Government Funding - Bushfire Local Economic Recovery Fund - Acceptance of Funding Integrated Planning and Reporting - End of Term Report

Investments made as at 30 June 2021 Lease - Telecommunications Site, Nerrigundah Draft Batemans Bay Urban Creeks Flood Study Public Exhibition

Request for Tender 2021/47 - Mogo Adventure Trails Hub - to advise Council of the outcome of Request for Tender (RFT) No. 2021/47 for the detailed design, construction and maintenance of approximately 155km of mountain bike track as proposed in the Mogo Adventure Trails Master Plan (Dirt Art 2020), and to recommend the entering into a contract with the preferred tenderer identified in a confidential attachment. Tenders were received from the following and assessed in accordance with the Tender Evaluation Plan: 1. Rocky Trails Destination Pty Ltd 2. Dirt Art Pty Ltd. Request for Tender No. 10018671 - Batemans Bay Sewage Treatment Plant Augmentation

Maintenance and Renewal Schedule for Roads 2021-22 Transport and Stormwater Program 2021-22 Australian Government - Driver Reviver Site Upgrade Program - Round 2 - Acceptance of Funding Public Art Strategy Community Development and Library grants Children's Services Funding 2021 NSW Local Roads Congress Council will now remain in place for another three months and as such will be revising their Public Access and Ordinary meeting schedule in order to hold meetings in August, September and October. A report on the proposed dates will be presented to the council meeting (most likely as a Mayoral Minute) for adoption by council. This was to be the last Council meeting before the current term of Council dissolved and went into caretake mode. The Council will now continue until November 5th before going into caretaker mode before the elections are held on December 4th 2021.


NOTE: Comments were TRIALED - in the end it failed as humans will be humans and it turned into a pile of merde; only contributed to by just a handful who did little to add to the conversation of the issue at hand.
