Club Malua Women's Bowls Report

There were 43 ladies present on a lovely warm sunny Autumn day.

President Sue Beavan and Bowls Organiser David Thomas welcomed everyone.

Sue congratulated our ladies who took part in the recent State Carnival for some great

bowling, she also thanked the Clubs who had sent messages of condolence on the

recent passing of friend and fellow bowler Julie Lewis.

Winners on Rink 3, Bev McKague, Raija Johnston and Michelle Weekes, it is always lovely to have Michelle from Club Cabramatta bowling with us.

Runners-up Rink 9, Swinging Lead Tricia Wheeler, Sonia Frey and Noleen Taylor.

Lucky Losers Rink 11, Sue Palmer and Margaret Bridges.

Other winning teams, Connie Anderson and Pat Bill. Sharon Cutmore and Sue Beavan.

Birthday wishes to Dorothy Stewart, Sue Morgan and Brooke Wilson also to Yours Truly

who has reached her 80th Milestone with thanks to everyone for their kind wishes and gifts.

David has asked for bowlers to take part this Friday, 10.30am start when we will have

visitors from Shoalhaven Heads bowling with us for the morning.

Next Tuesday 16th we will celebrate President's Day with our fabulous President Sue Beavan and am sure our illustrious cake maker Kim Giannasca will have something special as well.
