Club Malua Women's Bowls Report

What a beautiful day of warm sunshine for 41 ladies out on the green.

Bowls Organiser David Thomas and President Sue Beavan welcomed everyone. Lovely to see Helen Rees and Gai Gibson after a lovely holiday on the green.

Winners Rink 5, Rosie Rayner and Janet McKay with Gayl Vidgen and Tania Calder.

Runners-up, Judy Armstrong, Anne O'Dwyer and Paula Hancock.

Lucky Losers Rink 4, Lauraine Taylor, Colleen Ashby and Alison Innes. Lucky number winner on 9, Sonia Frey.

Other winning teams, Patron, Dorothy Stewart, Marlou Rollinson and Nancy White.

Robyn Butcher, Joan Rimmer and Ellie Crompton. Sue Palmer and Jenny Blyth.

Carmel Price, Gwen Ware and Sue Morgan. Tricia Wheeler, Gay Biggs and Rae Fayle.

Money Club winners on 11 Rosie Rayner, 6, Margaret Bridges.

David collected Charity money for any wrong biases also to Gay Biggs and Sharon Cutmore forgetting to put their names down for bowls this week.

President Sue Presented Jeanette Roberts with a beautiful plant and card signed by the ladies on the celebration of her 80th Birthday among cheers and singing the Birthday song.

Sue thanked District committee who were able to change date of Versatility Triples at Club

Tomakin to 28th April, so all could attend Funeral of dear friend Julie Lewis this Friday.
