Last Tuesday there were 48 ladies on the greens , some bowling socially also two rounds of Club Triples Championship. Social winners, Connie Anderson, Carmel Price and Jan Shalders. Joan Fitzroy, Bev Keatley and Sue Morgan had a Draw with Dorothy Stewart, Val Dundas and Alison Innes. Wendy Geary and Gay Thurlow. Round 1 of Club Triples. Judy Davis, Gayl Vidgen and Julie Lewis defeated Shirley Edwards, Robyn Butcher and Paula Hancock. Olga Geshwend, Yvonne Huddleston and Noleen Taylor defeated June Williams, Tania Calder and Gwen Ware. Tricia Wheeler, Carol Dutkiewicz and Sue Beavan defeated Colleen Ashby, Rae Fayle and Nancy White. Round 2, Sharna Breen, Lisa Grice and Lyn Hardy, defeated Judy David, Gayl Vidgen and Julie Lewis. Gay Biggs, Helen Rees and Pat Bill defeated Sonia Frey,Pat Weekes and Kim Giannasca. Tricia Wheeler, Carol Dutkiewicz and Sue Beavan defeated Judy Armstrong, Jeanette Roberts and Jean Beeley. Olga Geshwend, Yvonne Huddleston and Noleen Taylor defeated Gloria Harper, Bev Feehan and Jenny Blyth on the last end . Winners on a Drawn card, Tricia Wheeler, Carol Dutkiewicz and Sue Beavan. Runners-up, Dorothy Stewart, Val Dundas and Alison Innes. Rink 6 was selected to try for Jackpot of $1,000, 0 was needed but 29 came out Money club winners, 34 Alison Innes , 15, Helen Rees. Olga Geshwend, Yvonne Huddleston and Noleen Taylor defeated Tricia Wheeler , Carol Dutkiewicz and Sue Beavan. Thanks to Fran Lucas who Umpired all matches.
