Changed traffic conditions on the Princes Highway south of the Batemans Bay Bridge

Changed traffic conditions will be in place for motorists later this week on the Princes Highway at the south side of the Batemans Bay Bridge.

A southbound single lane closure will be in pace while ground monitoring equipment is installed as part of preparation works for the southern approach of the new Batemans Bay Bridge.

During the work, light vehicles travelling southbound will be detoured via Clyde Street and North Street.

Northbound traffic and heavy vehicles will remain on the Princes Highway under traffic control.

Work will take place between 7am and 6pm on Thursday 14 May between Clyde Street and North Street, weather permitting.

Traffic control, lane closures, a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h and a short southbound detour will be in place for the safety of workers and road users.

Motorists are advised to check electronic message boards for updates, allow an additional five minutes travel time, drive to the conditions and follow the direction of signs and traffic control.

Transport for NSW thanks the community for their patience during this time.
