Changed traffic conditions on the Kings Highway on Clyde Mountain

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions from next week on the Kings Highway as traffic is moved onto a partial new alignment at Misty Mountain Road. These traffic changes will allow work to continue on the new overtaking lane.

Both eastbound and westbound traffic will be switched onto the new road alignment from Tuesday 4 July, weather permitting.

Work will continue to be carried out between 7am to 6pm on weekdays and 8am to 1pm on Saturdays, weather permitting.

Transport for NSW is aiming to allow both lanes of traffic to be maintained continuously, however, intermittent stops of up to five minutes may be required to ensure the safety of motorists.

Traffic control and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.

Motorists are advised to allow an additional five minutes travel time, drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.

Transport for NSW thanks motorists for their patience during this time.
