Changed traffic conditions on the Kings Highway at Nelligen

Motorists and residents are advised of changed traffic conditions from tomorrow on the Kings Highway at Nelligen.

Tree removal, vegetation clearing and earthworks will be carried out between Wharf Road and the southern end of Thule Road to prepare for the new road alignment as part of the Nelligen Bridge Replacement project.

Work will take place from Tuesday 4 May between 7am and 6pm weekdays and from 8am to 1pm Saturdays until early July, weather permitting.

Traffic control will be in place for the safety of workers and road users, with the Kings Highway speed limit reduced to 40 km/h from Wharf Road to the southern end of Thule Road while work is being carried out.

One lane of the Kings Highway will be closed during some of this work under stop/slow traffic control, with no lane closures on Saturday.

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, allow five minutes additional travel time and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.

Transport for NSW thanks road users for their patience during this time.
