Changed traffic conditions on Princes Highway between Jeremadra and Batemans Bay

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions as planning is carried out for the delivery of concrete bridge segments to the Batemans Bay Bridge replacement construction site.

A transportation convey will travel north on the Princes Highway under police escort from Jeremadra, south of Mogo along the Princes Highway to Batemans Bay.

The planning exercise will be carried out between 9:30am and 2pm on Friday 13 December, weather permitting.

If this is delayed due to bushfire hazards or poor weather, the exercise will be carried out on Monday 16 December.

Traffic control and variable reduced speed limits between 60 km/h and 80 km/h will be in place for the safety of workers and road users.

Motorists are advised of temporary speed limit signage being installed along the Princes Highway. These signs will be installed prior to speed limit changes coming into effect.

Motorists may experience intermittent delays due to trucks crossing bridges at reduced speeds of 10 km/h along the delivery route.

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions; safely use designated overtaking lanes and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.

Transport for NSW thanks motorists for their patience during this time.
