Changed traffic conditions on Princes Highway at Batemans Bay

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions next week on the Princes Highway at Batemans Bay, as part of the Batemans Bay Bridge replacement project.

Work will be carried out to modify the median traffic island on the Princes Highway on the northern side of the North Street intersection.

This will allow construction of the southern bridge approach to continue.

Work will be carried out between 7am and 6pm from Monday 7 to Thursday 10 December 2020, weather permitting.

Traffic control, lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place during work hours for the safety of workers and road users.

One lane in each direction will remain open with intermittent stoppages of up to five minutes during work hours.

Motorists are advised to check electronic message boards for updates, drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.

Transport for NSW thanks motorists for their patience during project construction.

For the latest traffic updates download the Live Traffic NSW App, visit livetraffic.com or call 132 701.
