Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on the Princes Highway and Kings Highway next week.
This work will be carried out from 7pm to 7am on Wednesday 20 and Thursday 21 November, weather permitting, to reduce the impact to motorists.
Utility installation and median removal work will be carried out on 20 November on the Kings Highway between Old Punt Road and Princes Highway, and on the Princes Highway between Kings Highway and Wharf Road.
Work will then be carried out on 21 November on the Princes Highway between Clyde Street and North Street.
During work hours on 21 November, southbound detours will be in place for light vehicles via Clyde Street and North Street, while northbound traffic will remain on the Princes Highway under traffic control.
Traffic control, lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place for the safety of workers and road users.
Motorists are advised to check electronic message boards for updates, allow an additional five minutes travel time, and follow the direction of signs and traffic control.
Transport for NSW thanks motorists for their patience during this time.
