Changed conditions on Princes Highway and Kings Highway at Batemans Bay

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on the Kings Highway and Princes Highway at Batemans Bay from next week as part of the Batemans Bay Bridge replacement project.

On the Kings Highway motorists are advised of short delays from Monday 20 to Thursday 23 January in both directions near Old Punt Road and Bayridge Drive. This work is for concrete barrier relocation and line marking works and will be carried out between 7am and 5pm, weather permitting.

From 29 January access to the service centre from the Prices Highway just north of the Batemans Bay Bridge will be closed. This will enable construction of an additional northbound lane on the highway and improved entrance to the service centre.

Access to the service centre is still available via the Kings Highway and Old Punt Road.

Concrete barriers will also be installed at this location to ensure the safety of workers and motorists during the work, which is expected to be completed in mid-2020, weather permitting.

Traffic control, lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place for the safety of workers and road users.

Traffic control will be in place and motorists are advised to follow the direction of signs and traffic control.
