Tricia Pye of The TEC Exec told the Beagle "In Australia alone there are over 2.5 million people are currently not online and 4 million people have limited digital skills.

"This October, we’re bringing together partners, volunteers and communities to ensure everyone can take part in our increasingly digital world. “Eurobodalla Digital ” Events will take place across the Eurobodalla, and as part of the “Get Online Week” celebration across Australia will be providing a friendly and welcoming opportunity for Eurobodalla residents to take the next step on their online journey.

"You can find us at The Eurobodalla Digital Roadshow 2019.

"This roadshow is intended to inform and inspire the region’s population and build confidence, whether school age, small business, government or corporations, by way of engagement with the community so that they fully appreciate the full range of digital opportunities.

The Eurobodalla Digital Roadshow 2019 Event Format:

Hear from several government and business partners. Each partner will be present, have a display and are available to chat to help give a snapshot of what they do and how they can assist you.

Networking opportunities and refreshments will follow the formal presentations.

They will be introducing new technologies for:

Professional development Live Learning Lab Discover how new technologies those who have no keyboard skills develop documents in minutes Digital Gallery – Fun and informative facts Partner Presentations from leading brands Discover a full range of digital opportunities Join a local support network near you. Professional trainers and digital mentors will be present to help demystify the internet in simple terms.
