Eurobodalla Council advise the community that heavy rain this week and the extra river flows washing to our beaches will likely have an impact on water quality.
If the surf looks murky and discoloured, best avoid a potential health risk and find another spot to swim.
Beachwatch has tested Surf Beach and Caseys in the Bay, and Shelley at Moruya Heads at one star, which means bacterial levels indicate a substantially increased risk of illness to bathers.
