Golf Result for Wednesday, 21 October 2020

One of our golfing members, Lynne Richardson, annually donates a prize for the winner of today’s Stableford event, being the “Grandmother’s Trophy”. Admittedly, most of our Lady members are proud grandmothers so there was a large number of contestants for the prize. But there was only one winner; Julie Manson with 39 points. Congratulations Julie and a huge thankyou to Lynne for her sponsorship. But not taking away any kudos for the ultimate winners of the Club’s competition. Courtney Vincent, playing off an 18 handicap, blitzed the course with 40 Stableford points. A very nice round Courtney. Our Division 2 winner, Pat Cole followed closely behind with 38 points and Division 3 winner, Lynne Gadsby had a first-rate score of 37 points. Following are the full results:

Division 1

First: Courtney Vincent (18) 40 points

Second: Julie Manson (23) 39 points

Third: Eileen A Davis (24) 35 points

Fourth: Kathy Roe (18) 34 points

Division 2

First: Pat Cole (30) 38 points

Second: Margaret Blewitt (32) 35 points

Third: Beryl Robinson (28) 35 points

Fourth: Mieke Van Doeland (26) 33 points

Division 3

First: Lynne Gadsby (33) 37 points

Second: Alison Lee (45) 35 points

Third: Akemi Fukuda (39) 34 points

Fourth: Beverley Holliday (33) 31 points

The ball competition went to 29 on countback.
