2020 Ladies Golf Matchplay Championships

The final round of the Matchplay Championships was contested in each Division on Monday, 9th November 2020. A huge thankyou to all the supporters that cheered on the contestants and special thanks to Eileen Davis and Jo Neal for refereeing. The results are as follows:

Division 1 – Helen Neave defeated Margaret Dickinson

Division 2 – Pat Sly defeated Mieke Van Doeland

Division 3 – Donna Mills defeated Helen Bunsell

Congratulations to the winners and commiserations to the runners-up for a fine effort.

Results for Wednesday, 11 November 2020

Despite forecasts for high temperatures and windy conditions 78 Ladies turned out for today’s Stableford event. Thankfully the conditions were bearable although most players were keen to seek refuge in the Club House after the game. Results as follows:

Division 1

First: Oroya Mitchell (14) 37 points

Second: Judi Rimmer (20) 33 points

Third: Helen Neave (12) 33 points

Fourth: Roz Odgers (23) 32 points

Division 2

First: Wendy Hardy (26) 37 points

Second: Carol Bennett (29) 35 points

Third: Sue Demamiel (28) 35 points

Fourth: Sue Charls-Hartley (28) 34 points

Division 3

First: Sandra McCamley (35) 39 points

Second: Noreen Buckley (33) 35 points

Third: Louise Fogarty (35) 33 points

Fourth: Gay Kable (45) 33 points

The ball count went to 28 points.
