We are all missing our lawn bowls as we haven't played since mid- March. Just before we ceased playing, Tuross Head finalised their Women's Major Singles competition.
This match was a very exciting one between two very experienced bowlers Carol Williams
and Gail Page. It was a treat for spectators as they cheered the finalists along.
Carol Williams ended up being the victor for 2020 with Gail Page- Davies a worthy runner-
up.
Carol was especially thrilled with her success as she has played bowls at high level at Tuross for many years, and has been a wonderful mentor to many players, but this year was the first time she has been able to win the coveted Club Major singles.
