Busy time for BBay SES

While this week has been busy for us, it certainly hasn't been as hectic as elsewhere in the state.

We've assisted the community with leaking roofs in Malua Bay and Sunshine Bay. We've been to jobs where trees have been the centre of attention in Surf Beach, Malua Bay and Sunshine Bay. We also delivered sandbags to some residents to assist with the redirection of water or property protection.

We were asked to provide lighting at the scene of Monday's car accident on the Princes Highway to allow South Coast Police District to undertake further investigation.

Yesterday afternoon we were called to a car accident at Long Beach and assisted NSW Ambulance to extricate and transport a casualty to a waiting ambulance.

There are some strong winds forecast today (Wednesday). Please consider that the ground is very wet which will make it easy for trees to potentially fall down.

If you require emergency assistance in floods and storms, please call us on 132500. If you need help in a life threatening emergency, please call 000.
