Broulee Runners May 6th 2020

This is week 6 of the run isolated Broulee (RIB). The participation has attracted an average of 34 results being posted during this time. The cabin fever has the effect of encouraging people to go further as half of these results are over the 5 kilometre distance. There have been a number of consistent performers across the three distances. In the 2 kilometres Mollie Kennedy with 4 results under 10 minutes, in the 3.5 kilometres Ross Wilson has 5 results under 20 minutes and in the 5 kilometre Geordie Cox has 5 under 20 minutes. The most outstanding time lodged was that of Taylor Tracey running a time of 6.06 in the 2 kilometre. We look forward to seeing all these times bettered when we get back to our normal timed conditions.

The star performer is Helen Okey, pictured with John Hicks, who has completed 30 runs. This achievement is remarkable as her first runs were recorded carrying her grandson Jye Barbara in a pouch when he was a baby, and they now run together each week.

The results of this weeks running are as follows: 2KM EVENT Sunni West 7.28 Mollie Kennedy 7.57 Samson Kennedy 8.36 Emma Kennedy 12.17 Victoria Flemming 18.21 Helen Okey 20.10 Jye Barbara 20.25 3.5KM EVENT Bernie Lambert 17.57 Mark Barraclough 21.55 Michael Lambert 22.10 Annie Johnsen 25.20 Pauline Hicks 28.24 David McCann 28.40 Richard Fisher 30.58 5KM EVENT Matt Edenborough 19.02 David Hosking 19.03 Geordie Cox 19.14 Josh Connaughton 19.45 Mat Lambert 21.08 Bede Webster 21.58 Ellen Hosking 23.24 David Connaughton 24.20 Jess Jenkins 27.14 Simon Wall 27.22 Deb Connaughton 27.32 Ross Wilson 27.45 Paige Connaughton 28.19 John Hicks 30.10 Anna Hutchinson 33.10 Tracy Denning 36.30 Mike Kennedy 39.59 Robyn Kennedy 42.40 Lisa Robbins 43.34
