BROULEE RUNNER’S RESULTS

Once again, the wet conditions have caused the event to be closed. Senior members ran on the course in the last few days, and it is still very slippery and dangerous under foot. For the safety of our competitors, the event starting at the Mossy Point Anchor has been abandoned for this week. If runners want to submit a virtual time, it can be recorded against this evening’s run.
It is important to honour those Broulee runners, who performed with distinction at the Canberra Marathon running festival on Sunday 10 April 2022. The list of those outstanding athletes is as follow:

They were all asked to secretly nominate their finishing times the night before the event and prizes were awarded to those who finished closest to their nominated time. The winners were Lisa Robbins and Lauren Evans. This is a good indicator of how they managed their race and their training program.
