Broulee grass fire burns down shed

Broulee Rural Fire Brigade report:

🔥Our brigade assisted other brigades at an escaped fire that has destroyed a shed today. The landowner was burning in a drum that spread to nearby grass and ignited a shed. 🔥

It’s a timely reminder that winter can be a great period to clean up for summer, however it’s extremely dry!

Please ensure you are adequately resourced to undertake any burning.

Don’t forget to notify the fire control centre (Ph 4474 2855) and all your neighbours 24 hours before you light up.
