Boomerang Meeting Place consultation meetings in March

Since the bushfires Boomerang Meeting Place has been seeking to expand its capacity to support the Mogo Community. This has included working with other agencies to host community events and to provide a space for gathering activities. A major inititative has been to provide space for a Mens group to meet convened by The Family Place and led by Joe. This group has grown significantly and has outgrown the space available to them. Boomerang Meeting Place space is heavily booked and the current building has limited capacity to support any additional regular activities. Boomeranfg has been successful in obtaining a NSW Government grant through Aboriginal Affairs NSW and is planning to erect a Men's Shed and Healing Yarning space behind the current Boomerang building. You are invited to view the Concept Plan for the proposed expansion at Boomerang Centre at the times listed on the Flyer.
