CHAPTER 37 of the Courtyard Sessions is now a Bodalla RFS Fundraiser with all profits going to the Bodalla RFS. Tickets/admission is $50 per person and includes entree, main and dessert.
We will have a donation bucket for those generous enough to contribute more as well as for those who have also fallen on hard times themselves who wish to be a part of the evening, but find the ticket price beyond their means at the moment.
The event will feature returning solo singer/songwriter Corey Legge, front-man to local South Coast Blues-rockers, The Swamp Stompers. Corey will be joined by local indie-folk talent, Sam Fletcher.
The Bodalla RFS continues to protect and support the local community of Bodalla and surrounding areas. While thankfully Bodalla township was saved, sadly with the destruction of the bushfires many outlining communities have not been so lucky. We have seen many folks who have suffered the loss of everything, a lifetime of work and memories, and tragically for some the loss of loved ones, for whom our community grieves.
Our hearts greatest desire in these difficult times is to help support those local communities that have lost so much, with at least $20.00 from every ticket sold going directly to the Bodalla RFS to aid those most in need.
We would like to thank all those who have donated already, your kindness has been incredible, making a huge positive impact not only financially but emotionally. We also thank our RFS, these people have been pillars of our community, and we appreciate the selfless legacy they leave for us all to strive for.
Corey Legge plays heartfelt acoustic folk and pop, drawing influence from growing up on the beautiful Far South Coast of NSW. Corey’s original music is reminiscent of James Taylor’s heyday, with intricate fingerpicking, and vocal melodies that will get stuck in your head for days.
Corey has been described as "A creative, highly skilled pro. With all the talent, hunger and attitude to become one of Australia's best.‘’ Lloyd Spiegel (Australian Blues Legend).
Supporting Corey will be local artist Sam Fletcher, Indie folk and classic rock with a laid-back thoughtful air is the signature sound of this acoustic singer/songwriter. Influenced by the acoustic greats of the 60's and 70's, and the folk songs of old.
Performances will begin from 6pm Saturday 25th of January.

The COURTYARD SESSIONS are a series of alternative music and art events that will feature an eclectic showcase of original and alternative live music, poetry, improv, exhibitions and more; from local and interstate, it’s a place for musicians, performers and artists of all kinds. Each “Chapter” will be held in The Downward Dog Co. Café’s beautiful stone courtyard in the heart of Bodalla.
