Work continues on the Beach Road safety program at Batemans Bay. One lane will be closed in each direction from Monday 11 May

With stormwater upgrades complete, new kerb and gutter will be laid along the section of Beach Road between Golf Links Drive and Miller Street.

To facilitate work, one lane will be closed in each direction from Monday 11 May, initially on the northbound side of the road, then the southbound side. Traffic control will be in place, with work expected to take several weeks.

At the same time, work on the drainage infrastructure near the Batemans Bay Marina opposite Miller Street will be completed.

Pedestrians east of the road will be directed onto the road, with water-filled barriers to separate and protect them from traffic.
