Night works to asphalt a section of Beach Road – between Bavarde Avenue to near Raine & Horne – begin this month.
The work is scheduled from 6pm to 6am from Sunday 11 to Thursday 15 October and Sunday 18 to Tuesday 20 October to reduce disruption to traffic during the day.
Traffic control will be in place with only one lane open to traffic during the night work, and one lane in each direction open during the day. Commuters should allow extra time to travel through the area. Although every effort will be made to minimise noise, residents may hear heavy machinery operating.
The work is a part of the larger Beach Road safety upgrade to improve road safety and reduce the road crash trauma to our community.
