Temporary changes to Clyde Street access

A section of Clyde Street in Batemans Bay will be closed to Princes Highway through traffic from Monday 2 to Sunday 15 November. During the work commuters travelling on the Princes Highway will not be able to turn directly south into Clyde Street; access to Clyde Street shops and businesses will be by way of North Street.

The closure is necessary to connect a new sewer pipe that runs beneath the Clyde River, and will ensure reliable sewerage for communities north of the river into the future.

The closure involves a short section of Clyde Street immediately south-east of the highway. The T-wharf carpark will remain accessible and the riverside path will remain open. Heavy vehicles will be able to access the Bridge Plaza car park but the exit will be restricted to right turn only onto Clyde Street.

Traffic control and roadside message boards will be in place during the work. For more information on where Council is working in Eurobodalla, visit esc.nsw.gov.au/currentworks
