Barilaro requests urgent reconsideration regarding proposed Kings Hwy closures

Deputy Premier, John Barilaro has advised today, via his social media feed that: "I have today written to the Minister for Regional Transport and Roads, Paul Toole, to request an urgent reconsideration of the temporary closure of the Kings Highway over Clyde Mountain.

"I appreciate that this work is necessary but it should not come at the cost of local businesses.

"My suggestion is to have the work carried out Tuesday to Wednesday from 8am to 4pm. A further option is an additional half day on Thursday from 8am to noon.

"If we all work together we can find a way."
