Australian Open of Surfing - Far South Coast Open Saturday 5th - Sunday 6th December 2020

The Australian Open of Surfing Far South Coast Open will kick off on the Far South Coast of NSW on Saturday 5th December, providing professional and aspiring surfers with the opportunity to win prize money and gain momentum going into 2021.

Seeding & Event Entries: Event entry will cost $110. Current Entry List:Australian Open of Surfing Far South Coast.pdf Heat Draw and Schedule: The heat draw and schedule will be released on Thursday 3rd December at 5pm and we will have an up to date seed list visible on this web page. The daily running schedule and contest location will be confirmed on the Event Hotline (0458 247 212) after 6:45am the day of the event. Round Sizes: Top 72 Men & 32 Women each. Prize Money: (Both divisions) 1st place- $1500

2nd place - $900

3rd place - $600

4th place - $500

Event Rules - All heats will be twenty minutes - Four person heats - Priority will be utilised Event Location: This is a mobile event with proposed event locations: Dalmeny Point, Kianga, Mummuga Point, Yabbara Point, Duesburys Beach and Carter Beach Australian Open of Surfing Event Schedule Sunshine Coast, QLD – 19th – 20th September 2020 Gold Coast, QLD – 31st October – 1st November 2020 Cronulla, NSW – 8th – 9th November, 2020 Port Macquarie, NSW - 14th - 15th November, 2020 Kiama, NSW – 22nd – 23rd November, 2020 Coffs Harbour, NSW – 29th – 30th November, 2020 Far South Coast, NSW - 5th - 6th December, 2020 Northern Beaches, NSW – 13th – 14th December, 2020 The 2020 Australian Open of Surfing events were created for Australia’s best surfers in iconic Australian surf locations.

Event Conditions: The Australian Open Of Surfing Is Open to all surfers. State Membership required. No refunds within 14 days of the event. $10 admin fee will apply to all refunds.

COMMENTS : Due to the risks associated with comments from unidentified contributors that expose The Beagle to possible legal actions under the NSW Defamation Act 2005 No 77 anonymous or Nom de Plume comments will not be available until an alternate system of author verification can be investigated and hopefully installed.
