Australia Day at Tuross Head

Each year the Marine Rescue NSW Tuross Unit invites the community to participate in a long-standing Tuross Head tradition: the Australia Day Breakfast BBQ. Located at the iconic One Tree Point with wonderful views and local entertainment, the wider Tuross Head community and many of the annual visitors gather for an social catch-up with breakfast hosted by the local Marine Rescue team. For over a decade the Tuross Netball Team hosted the event as their primary fundraiser however they decided to hand the reins over to the Rescue Volunteers several years ago enabling the Rescue unit to bolster their funds to runs four vessels at two wharves, one at Tuross Base and the other at South Head in Moruya.
