For those interested in the status of The Araluen Road landslips and recovery: The huge bypass round the 1st landslide at the 23 km mark is complete and has been in use since the beginning of the year, after the fire trail locals were using collapsed.

Work has just started on the 2nd landslide at the 43 km mark. The contract of $1.5m is due for completion in February 2023. They are removing the debris, stabilising and reinforcing the hillside as well as the downhill side which has slipped away.

There are a number of sections along the road that have undergone stabilisation works
