And that's a wrap for The Drowsy Chaperone

Bay Theatre Players Inc. celebrate the close of another wonderful production saying "And that’s a wrap! Congratulations to Director, Candy Burgess, for an absolute stand out production! Thank you to the wonderful cast, crew and production team! Thanks to the front of house and ticketing! And thank you to our audiences for supporting your local theatre!

The Drowsy Chaperone was the first performance for the The Bay Theatre Players in over 12 months bringing their teams of actors, set designers and fabulous front of house volunteers together to present a sold out production. The Drowsy Chaperone was a 1920’s vaudeville musical, a story of mistaken identity, mayhem and a gay wedding! The production brought many experienced and well-loved players returning to the stage, including Matthew Burgess as Man In Chair, Anna Smart as Janet Van De Graaff and Narrell Murdoch as The Drowsy Chaperone herself! The Bay Theatre Players Inc have staged many and varied productions over the years, initially at the hall at Observation Point, Batehaven, and from the mid-1990's in their own Gregory Street theatre, where they continue to provide a variety of stellar entertainment each season.
