It comes after NSW health announced that anyone who was at Melbourne Airport at Terminal 4 on Tuesday the 9th of February must get tested immediately and isolate for 14 days regardless of the result.
REX's Melbourne to Merimbula Flight No. ZL3468 flew out of Melbourne Airport's Terminal 4 from 10:40am on Tuesday the 9th of February.
Premier Daniel Andrews has announced a state-wide Victorian lock down from 11:59 pm tonight until Wednesday, after two more coronavirus cases in Melbourne.
“This is difficult but essential,” Mr Andrews said.
"I am confident that this short, sharp circuit breaker will be effective."
Victoria’s Dr Brett Sutton says this decision has been made because the coronavirus which has infected people in the Holiday Inn cluster, is UK strain of the virus.
Which is the “fastest moving and most infectious strain of Coronavirus” Dr Sutton said.
