A new political group, Advance Eurobodalla, and have announced their bid to stand for the 2021 Eurobodalla Shire LGA Election in September.
Describing themselves as a group of passionate community leaders dedicated to facilitating positive change and progress the group promotes themselves as informed, energised local people, dedicated to facilitating positive change and progress across the Eurobodalla Shire.
Their launch media release describes that they are "passionate about realising and protecting our shire’s enormous potential and are driven to achieve this goal with integrity and a fresh approach."

• Retaining our unique and relaxed coastal character
• Protecting our much loved, unspoilt and precious environment
• Facilitating job opportunities and housing affordability
• Encouraging young people to remain in the shire
• Cultivating cohesive communities
• Attracting and facilitating investment
A group spokesperson contacted The Beagle saying "the group is excited for this important turning point for the Eurobodalla Shire.
"We are determined to rebuild the trust between Council and community. From next week we will be announcing our candidates and policy and ask everyone across the Shire to visit our website, follow us on social and most importantly connect with us to share your vision for our shire.’
