Additional Covid-19 Testing Clinic In Bega Valley This Weekend

Southern NSW Local Health District will open a pop-up COVID-19 testing clinic this weekend following the announcement of new venues of concern in Tathra and Bega.

The drive through clinic at the Old Bega Racecourse will be open on Saturday 9, Sunday 10

and Monday 11 October from 8.00am – 4.00pm daily. No booking is required.

To access the testing clinic, vehicles need to enter from Auckland St, turn right onto

Jacksonia Grove moving towards the corner of East St. Traffic control will be in place.

SNSWLHD anticipates higher demand than normal for testing over the next three days.

Please bring snacks and water in case you need to wait.

COVID-19 testing will also be available at South East Regional Hospital 8.00am – 4.00pm


SNSWLHD has been notified of new venues of concern associated with COVID-19 cases.

Anyone who visited one of these venues at the times listed is a casual contact and must

immediately get tested and isolate until a negative result is received. Staff will be

contacted separately by SNSWLHD’s Public Health Unit regarding their testing and isolation

Everyone in the region should be alert for any symptoms that could signal COVID-19, including headache, nausea, sore throat, runny nose, cough, loss of smell or taste, or fever. If symptoms appear, people must isolate and get tested immediately, and remain isolated until a negative result is received.

If you are eligible, please also come forward for vaccination as soon as possible. There are

more than 200 mobile and outreach vaccination clinics across the state in addition to GPs
