Adding to the stories presenting to the Bushfire Royal Commission

The Bushfire Royal Commission has been hearing the terrible health impacts of the Black Summer bushfires. Mother and GP Dr Michelle Hamrosi’s story in the Australian Parents for Climate Action submission described these, and calls for government climate action to avoid further climate disasters.

Australian Parents for Climate Action say "Many of our members were affected directly or indirectly by Australia's terrible climate change-fuelled "Black Summer" bushfires of 2019-20. They are still processing the physical and mental impacts, and want Australian Federal and State governments to take the climate action needed to protect their children from further disasters."

Australian Parents for Climate Action collated dozens of members' stories to include in our submissions to the Bushfires Royal Commission, the NSW Bushfire Inquiry and the Victorian Bushfire Inquiry.

You can view the Inquiry submissions, and ask your elected reps to support a climate-positive #COVID_19 recovery at www.ap4ca.org/bushfires
