Accident on the Kings Hwy

Incident Call

Thursday Sept 19th at 9:45am the Batemans Bay Rural Fire Brigade was responded to a motor vehicle accident on the Kings Highway near Sheep Station Creek. Crews arrived to find a vehicle which appeared to have lost control and spun out into the embankment.

The crew cleared a small amount of debris off the road as well as provided fire suppression until the vehicle was removed from the scene. One occupant was transported to hospital with minor injuries.

Recently the brigade has noticed a spike in motor vehicle accidents on the Kings Highway. They’d like to remind everyone to drive to the conditions and stop, revive, survive coming into these school holidays.

'We don’t want to meet you by accident."
