A Teenage girl has died after being hit by a bus outside an Ulladulla school

A teenage girl has died after being hit by a bus on the South Coast this afternoon.

Shortly after 3pm (Wednesday 1 July 2020), emergency services were called to South Street, Ulladulla, following reports a child had been hit by a bus outside a school.

Despite the efforts of emergency services, the girl died at the scene. She is a student of the school; however, is yet to be formally identified.

Officers from South Coast Police District attended and commenced inquiries.

The bus driver was breath tested at the scene, returning a negative result. They will be taken to hospital for mandatory testing.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
