a message from NSW SES Batemans Bay Unit

Listen up, #Eurobodalla!

There is significant rain forecast for tomorrow (Tuesday 23rd March).

Please - take it easy on our roads. Don't drive, ride, walk or play in flood water. This may result in you requiring rescue that could put both yours, and our lives, being put in danger.

Today we were responded to a #FloodRescue after a car was driven into a flooded creek near Benanderah. Thankfully the occupant of the car self rescued before we arrived.

We were also responded to assist South Coast Police District and Fire and Rescue NSW Station 217 Batemans Bay on the Princes Highway south of Cranbrook Road Batemans Bay at a 2 car MVA where one person was trapped.

If you require emergency assistance in floods and storms, please call us on 132500. If you need help in a life threatening emergency, please call 000.
