A call for extra vigilance

Andrew Constance MP posts: I am very worried and concerned. Unfortunately some of our locals are close contacts after being in Canberra at an exposure site last weekend.

Can everyone please be extra vigilant as I think it will be a miracle that we don’t get a positive case and end up in lockdown. Canberra is such an important part of our region so we are all in this together. Canberrans are required to adhere to their lockdown laws, and if anyone has any symptoms please get tested.

I am in close contact with our health district CEO Marg Bennett and the next few days will be tough. We are all in this together and need to work together. Be safe, be patient and show gratitude to our nurses, doctors and our essential workers.
