The ticket for A Better Council has been revealed in the leadup to the Eurobodalla Council elections on September 4th 2021.

Their Facebook page advises: Tubby Harrison will be running for Mayor and council with his team of Gary Smith, Jackilyn Rosevear and John Gillet. "Together, we are passionate about improving communication between the council and the community. We WILL deliver a more transparent and accountable Eurobodalla Shire." "Through experience, I know this community. We are standing for a more accountable council. There has to be more communication, both ways, from the council to the community and vice versa. I am looking forward to the challenge and together we can have a happier and more accountable Eurobodalla Shire." An experienced Group committed to A Better Council to serve and guide our community with these policies -

~Open council with genuine public consultation and helpful staff.

~Support local business and buy local where reasonable.

~Actively lobby for more overtaking lanes for a safer Highway.

~Review staff Delegated Powers for more input by Councillors. (no back-room deals unless real commercial-in-confidence).

~No selling of public land unless supported by residents after full public consultation eg roads, reserves, Kyla Park community land.

~Actively lobby for genuine consultation with landowners on the Moruya By-Pass route.
